The ADD NAME, DISPLAY NAME and EDIT NAME screens are almost identical. The EDIT NAME screen is:
For fields like HIGH SCHOOL or COLLEGE, when entering new data, after three characters, the system will show other HIGH SCHOOL s / COLLEGE s with similar spelling.
All name records are shown in a data grid, that is also the opening screen of the application.
This data grid (and all other data grids) can be sorted by clicking in the column header.
Any name flagged as inactive or any name with a date of death will be shown in different background color.
The NEW GROUP, EDIT GROUP and DISPLAY GROUP screens are almost identical. The DISPLAY GROUP screen is below:

The Links screen link names to names, names to groups, and events to names with dates. The Add Link screen is:
When linking children to parents, it is only necessary to link the child to one parent.
The EXTRACTS screen is divided into four parts by the horizontal lines. The top sections selects how the separate extracts are combined---by UNION or by INTERSECTION if the information is merged from more than one extract.
The second section has various extract selections. Multiple selections can be merged, either by UNION or by INTERSECTION. The GET ALL button retrieves all names except names marked as inactive or where date of death has been entered. The GET ALL ALL button retrieves all names.
The results of the extract are shown in the data grid in the third section.
The lowest section allows output of the extracts (as shown in the data grid) into various. Example include:
printed lists of names (single column per page)
printed directory (two columns per page)
Avery labels
printed list of upcoming events like birthdays, wedding anniversaries
New email messages in Outlook
Families have names and partners combined into one line
Upcoming events show future birthdays and anniversaries.
The REPORTS screen generates reports from the entire database, covering all names, regardless of status.
